Techonology Moving Faster and Faster


As a gadget guy (don't mess with my iPhone or DVR!), I thought this was a cool graph showing how much more quickly we are adopting new technologies. For example, it took 14 years for 150 million people to start using cellphones. How long did it take for that many people to join Facebook? 5 years.

What these graphs don't take into account is cost. As would be expected, more people adopt new technologies as costs go down.

So what's the next big technology? Nobody knows for sure, but maybe it's this
